Acting Alone

The story of one frantic actor’s struggle to come to terms with trying to change the world alone…

Acting Alone is inspired by the people Ava Hunt met in Palestinian refugee camps in 2013. In her unique performance style, she weaves together these stories of fragile humanity with tales of the frequently hilarious and occasionally downright bizarre experiences of touring as an actor and performing alone.

Heartbreaking, funny and confronting, Acting Alone asks questions of us all. Do we stand up for what we believe in? What are we willing to risk? Can one person actually make a difference?

Find out what inspired Ava to go to Palestine, and what happened in the middle of the desert when she got there.
