Creative Coding, Making Music

Fun, creative and diverse, Algorhythms bridges the gap between coding and music through the sumptuous sounds of a live orchestra. Back for a fourth year, the show will feature pieces by famous and influential classical composers such as Shostakovich and Terry Riley, alongside wonderful new music written and performed by students from Becket Primary School, Firs Primary School, Bemrose School and Derby College. Complementing these will be new commissions from composers Raph Clarkson and Josephine Stephenson, celebrating the creative worlds of performance and programming.

So get ready for this energetic, fun and algorhythmical musical extravaganza!

AlgoRhythms  is presented by Sinfonia Viva,  in partnership with Rolls-Royce and Derbyshire Music Education Hub.
