Join us to discuss the future of 'artist development' in an event that brings together early-career artists from across the UK, along with the venues and producers that support them. The day will feature work-in-progress sharings from a selection of artists curated by our guests- ARC Stockton, Derby Theatre, National Theatre of Wales and Nuffield Theatre. Work from In Good Company/ Derby Theatre includes: LaPelle’s Factory, Nafeesa Hamid, Maison Foo, Milk Presents and Nonsuch Theatre

The Spark Children's Art Festival @ Attenborough Arts Centre

Friday 27 May

In Good Company associate artists PAD Productions and Egg Box Theatre will be presenting sharings of their new work for young audiences to an invited audience of children’s theatre professionals at Leicester’s annual Spark Festival. The Spark Festival is the largest children's arts festival in England & Wales, taking place every May & June in Leicester.

Between Us We Know Everything seeks to capture what we know, everything we know, anything we know. It's about putting faces to the facts, and bringing people into the story - making a huge online map of knowledge. Visit the mobile video studio to film a piece of information that you want to share with the world. What do you know?

Open-mic night for new plays.

Wed 17 September: is an open mic night for new writing, designed to lift plays off the page so they can stand on their own two feet.  We provide the Dutch courage so actors can stretch their sight-reading muscles, producers and directors test their ability to sniff out potential, while playwrights hear their work for the first time. Fast, furious and fun, join us after dark for Derby Theatre after-hours

Who's got the best Christmas jumper? Expect a twist on the Christmas Dinner with our finger buffet and mulled wine, and enjoy Christmas Party classics and a Secret Santa lucky dip. To kick start our seasonal Scratch programme, our Associate Companies will be presenting the first exploration of the creative projects they’re developing with us over their residency.
