Reimagine Digital Project
Derby Theatre and cultural organisations Baby People, Déda, Artcore, and Wrongsemble are calling out to young people to reimagine a future post-Covid-19 and get involved in a new digital creative project.
If you're aged 16-25, and based within a 15 mile radius of Derby, you can apply to be part of a unique online 5 week co-creation project.
We are looking to recruit six teams of 10 people.
Each team will work in collaboration with one of six leading artists, specialising in the areas of writing and performing, devising and theatre making, film making, dance and movement, music or virtual graffiti to create their response around the theme #Reimagine2020.
Together, you will work over 5 weeks to develop your ideas over WhatsApp and weekly zoom sessions.
These online sessions will offer you the chance to creatively explore the positive changes from Covid-19 lockdown that you would like to keep and how it has enabled people to see and understand the world differently.
The final pieces will then be shared and celebrated across a range of cultural platforms, regionally and nationally, with support from Arts Council England. We want to give you the voice you deserve through this pandemic.
