A Derby Theatre production
Derby Theatre Productions , Family Shows
Wednesday 25 July 2018 - Sunday 5 August 2018

Lots of fun for under 5s and their families!

Gabi and Jaz want to go on holiday, but Gabi and Jaz aren’t going on holiday. They have to stay at home instead.

It’s not fair. What to do? We’ll play at going on holiday!

Join Gabi and Jaz as they gather up their things, and with the magical power of their imaginations, they head to the beach where they play on the sand, swim, surf and snorkel with the fish in the sea, eat ice creams, catch crabs in a rock-pool and have a delicious picnic - but watch out for that cheeky seagull!

Then they travel even further… to a place where they learn to speak a new language, slurp spaghetti and camp out under the stars.

And all without leaving the comfort of their home.

Inspired by the funny and moving stories told to us about holidays by children from Derby, Holiday is the perfect summer treat for children aged 3-5 and their grown-ups.

This brand new, charming family show has been created and directed by award-winning director of theatre for Early Years, Sarah Argent, with original music by Ivan Stott (composer of Peter Pan and The Gingerbread Man). Let’s play!
