Your Chance Productions Presents

Much Ado About Nothing

Fri 28 – Sat 29 Oct, 2022 Archive
It's the end of the season and Don Pedro and his group of re-enactors are returning from months away, touring the country and performing to the masses.

It’s been a long summer and a lot of battles they’re glad to take a nice break at Leonata’s country estate before returning to the city and continuing their normal lives.

Here old friends are reunited and old flames are rekindled. During the celebrations childhood friends Hero and Claudio (now all grown up) see each other with new eyes and fall in love. While former friends Beatrice and Benedicta resume their bickering as each one desperately tries to tear the other down, much to the annoyance of their mutual friends who conspire against them and decide to trick them into falling in love. Traps are set and the rivals fall right into them. Unfortunately, it’s not all fun and games as bitterness and envy seep into the friends lives in the form of Joanna, Pedro’s jealous sister as she and her followers set their own much more harmful traps that could ruin everyone’s happiness. Who will be victorious in this witty tale of gossip, friendship, jealousy, rivalry and love?

A percentage of ticket sales will be donated to the charity Inspirative Arts who provide Creative Arts therapy for children and adults and help them develop emotional resilience and improve their self-esteem. Find out about their work at www.inspirativearts.co.uk.
