Call Out: Creative Commission for ‘Derby Loves You: A Night of New Writing’
Derby Theatre and Derbyshire Playwright and Poet Simon Marshall are looking for a new creative response to the prompt ‘Derby Loves You’.
The creative commission should be 3-5 minutes in length, and could take the form of poetry, spoken word, original music, a monologue – however your creativity takes shape!
The chosen artist will create a piece and perform it on the evening of the Saturday 14 August at Derby Market Place, as part of Derby Loves You: A Night of New Writing.
Fee: £250 will be offered for the creation and performance of the work.
Other works that evening will celebrate Derby city, LGBTQ+ identity, young people’s aspirations and sense of home.
Derbyshire Playwright and Poet Simon Marshall will be curating the evening with Derby Theatre.
How To Apply
