Live in Derbyshire? We Want To Hear Your Stories!

In January, Derby Theatre start Research & Development for a new play Palace of Varieties by Kevin Fegan, directed by Sarah Brigham.

The play is inspired by the life of Bolsover (Derbyshire) MP, Dennis Skinner, and the social and political history over the 49 years he’s served as an MP.

For this project, Kevin is wanting to hear from the people of Derbyshire with their stories, anecdotes and opinions about Dennis Skinner and experiences of living in Derbyshire over the last 50 years.

There will be a drop-in event at Derby Theatre, Monday 16 December, between 5pm – 7pm. You do not need to book, simply pop in, grab a cuppa and share your stories.
