Laramie, Wyoming. 1998.

20 year old Matthew Shepard was tragically and horrifically murdered in a homophobic attack that shocked the town of Laramie. In 2018, 3rd year Theatre Arts students will mark 20 years since Matthew’s death with a performance of The Laramie Project.

Using verbatim and the real words of the residents of Laramie, the show delves into their lives to examine how Matthew’s death became a catalyst for change in America and in the UK.  The Laramie Project, written by Moises Koffman and The Tectonic Theatre Project is a poignant and relevant show about justice.
