Workshops and Learning , Artist Development
Thursday 12 April 2018

12th April, Burton Brewhouse, 1-4pm

The Paper Birds is an award-winning devising theatre company. Founded and run by women since its launch in 2003, The Paper Birds has become a crucial part of the contemporary theatre landscape in the UK. Now more thriving than ever, how does a small-scale theatre company operate daily and generate income? As leaders in the delivery of devising theatre workshops in schools across the country, this session with Co-Founder and Director Kylie Perry explores how theatre artists can market and promote their services to the education sector and how they can begin to develop a more sustainable future.

This workshop is presented by The Big House. Big House is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and is aimed at developing your company as a business.  We help you develop new audiences, identify funding opportunities, boost your profile with venues and develop your company into a sustainable business.
