Scratch that Itch: Spring Surprise

Artist Development , In Good Company
Thursday 12 March 2020

Our famous Scratch Nights our back in 2020, offering a selection of new work from the most exciting artists in the region.

This event is at the Brewhouse Arts Centre, Burton on Trent.

This is a chance for theatre makers to try out new ideas in front of an audience and for audiences to feed into the development of the next big thing.

The line up of fab theatre makers that will be scratching their work during the evening is as follows:

Hayley May Muirhead - Mushroom Soup, a sweaty solo clown comedy show that goes through the answers in a celebration of what’s so brilliant about us all using verbatim, techno music and drag.

Polis Loizou - Siren's Voices, a blend of one-man performance storytelling, multimedia, history and Greek/Anatolian folklore about the LGBTQ voices lost through time.

Push To Shove Theatre - The Age of Embarrassment, a physical theatre light-hearted performance that looks at embracing embarrassment and how that can affect the way you perceive and deal with certain situations and how it manifests itself differently in different ages.

Si Rawlinson - Lost In Transition, explores the emotional journey of finding a voice in a different place, finding connections to our past, and addressing our cultural hang ups. Ultimately it explores brotherhood between two friends.
