Script Writing with Simon Marshall

Saturday 4 May, 10am - 12pm
For ages 14 - 25
This workshop will be BSL interpreted

Place. Self. Purpose. This workshop will focus on the relationship between location, mindfulness and character when approaching writing for the stage. It will equip you with skills for creating content, developing plot and dialogue, and identifying your voice as a writer.

Simon Marshall is a playwright, poet and performer from Derbyshire. He has previously worked with Vision West Nottinghamshire College and has written for The Bikeshed, Exeter, the Arcola Theatre, London and The Place Theatre, Bedford. 

Plus, a fantastic opportunity to see a group of actors perform your script at 6:30pm in the upper foyer.


See Garrick Young REP and CAST Ensemble perform their versions of Flesh by Rob Drummond at 7:30pm.
