Charlotte Jolliffe’s re-imagining of Henrik Ibsen’s classic A Doll’s House relocates Nora Helmer in London, 1952.

Amid smog, scavengers and corruption, Nora must come to terms with the reality of her husband’s death while she suffers from the exploitation of those around her.

This student production explores the consequence of psychological manipulation on the individual at a time where female hysteria was common place in medical diagnosis.

The Tarantella  follows Nora’s journey of recovery from her mental illness and the obstacles that she must confront along the way.
